GOVT U-TURN - ALL LONDON PRIMARY SCHOOLS WILL BE CLOSED FROM MONDAY

In a dramatic last minute I-turn, the government have announced all London Primary schools will be closed for the start of term next week In a bid to curb the spread of the virus. It comes after Greenwich and other boroughs had been missed off the list for primary schools to close despite rising rates of Covid.

Please note that provision for pupils that are vulnerable or those children of key workers is still in place and these pupils should continue to attend school following direction from your schools

With cases continuing to rise in our borough, we would like to remind you that we are in Tier 4, which means STAY AT HOME

  1. Only leave home to shop for essentials or to attend medical appointments or if you cannot work from home

  2. wash your hands for a minimum of 20 seconds and do this OFTEN

  3. If you are around anyone, please make sure you maintain a 2m distance

  4. Wear a face covering to protect each other.

Stay safe everyone.

As we enter 2021 we have the opportunity to hope the future will get better for all of us, we just need to be patient a little while longer.
