Would You Know What Hate Crime Is?

In our day to day business we witness hate crime in some form, yet we say or do nothing. It is one of the most under reported crimes in our borough and yet its effects can have serious consequences.

It isn't just about Race or Religion, these are the more obvious to see, yet we still ignore it. Hate Crime can be about sexual orientation, disability, just being different.

The workshop hopes to enable you to be able to identify what Hate Crime is, how to report it, how to support your community and indeed help the victim to be part of the community. Afterall, one of the affects of being a victim, is the feel of isolation from people and community.

Our event on 8th July will enable you and others to pass this information to your members and make sure our communities look out for our most vulnerable.
