Theft of Catalytic Converters on the rise in the borough

We have had reports of thefts across the borough of catalytic converters from cars.

Most recently Thamesmead Morrison’s.

Thieves are targeting car parks and parking just behind or in front of the vehicle and taking the item in a matter of minutes.

Please advise your members of this and ask them to be extra vigilant and to report any suspicious behaviour.
