Have you been affected by cybercrime?

Last year, more than 4.5 million cybercrimes were committed in England and Wales according to estimates by the Office of National Statistics. This worrying and growing trend has been identified by Neighbourhood Watch Network as an area where members of the public could be receiving more education, help and support.

That’s why we’ve teamed up with online security experts Avast to launch a campaign shortly, called Cyberhood Watch, to ensure the public receive the protection they require. To aid our campaign we need case studies of members who have fallen victim to online criminals.

We appreciate it can be a sensitive matter, but we are keen for those who have suffered at the hands of predatory cybercriminals to share their stories. By raising awareness you’ll be helping to prevent the same thing happening to others. If you have experienced cybercrime and would consider speaking about it publicly, please fill in the form on our website (link below). If you wish to remain anonymous, this is also not a problem. Please share this link with others who may want to share their story.
