I am writing to you from Greenwich Inclusion Project, a community- led charitable organisation commissioned by Royal Greenwich to deliver a range of services, one of which is a hate crime service for peoplethat live, work, study or visit the borough
During these weeks of, self isolating, social distancing and restricted travel, its possible that tensions between neighbours and other parties may escalate; therefore, it’s important to remain vigilant when vulnerability for many may increase despite reduced social contact.
The Royal Borough of Greenwich commissions Stop Hate UK’s 24- hour hate crime telephone reporting service, available in more than forty community languages, 0800 138 1625.
The Royal Borough also commissionsthree charities that support victims of hate crime and raises awareness of how to report, and the impact of hate crime. We can provide information about personal safety and help victims work with the police and other organisations.
