The use of Direction to Leave Notices under Section 35 of the Anti-Social Behaviour, Crime and Police Act 2014, has been authorised for the area in the attached photo of Woolwich Town Centre.
This will be in place from 1100 hours today until 1700 hours on 13/06/19.
Section 35 dispersal power can be used by police officers and designated PCSOs to deal with individuals aged 10 or over engaging in anti-social behaviour or crime and disorder not only when they have occurred or are occurring, but when they are likely to occur and in any locality.
